Description
The tradition of Tantra or Tantric Buddhism is known to have existed in India as early as the 5th
century AD. In this book Osho talks about the mystical insight of Tantra that is to be found in these ancient
writings. Mining these ancient Tantric writings and meditation practices Osho illuminates such concepts as the
nature of darkness and light, the paradoxical wisdom of the "pathless path," and reverence for the body as a
bridge to the divine. No matter how complex, esoteric, or obscure the subject, Osho always examines it from a
uniquely refreshing perspective - he uses time honoured traditions as a hook to bring timeless truths to the
widest possible audience with irreverent wit and thought-provoking inspiration.

well as in the numerous Tibetan traditions disseminated around the world by Tibetan masters living in
diaspora. The central scriptures for these traditions were generally designated by the term tantra.

well as in the numerous Tibetan traditions disseminated around the world by Tibetan masters living in

Tantras are works that purport to relate secret teachings of the buddhas that enable awakening in as short
as one lifetime. As such they are understood by their advocates to be the inspired speech of a buddha, and
hence worthy of inclusion in the canons of Buddhist traditions. Over the past twenty years there has been
considerable growth in the study of tantras as well as translations of these works into Western languages.
This volume provides a detailed introduction to the Buddhist tantras. It addresses their development in
India, their dissemination to Central, East and Southeast Asia, and their reception in these contexts. It
introduces the key teachings in the tantras, as well as the history of their interpretation, and their
connection to traditions of ritual, and contemplative practices.
It also introduces the classification of the tantras and their place in Buddhist scriptural canons. It
concludes with a look at the transgressive rhetoric that characterizes many of the tantras, the impact this
had on their dissemination and translation, and the ways in which Buddhists explained this. It suggests that
transgressive rhetoric and practices served an important role in Buddhist tantric traditions, which may be
why they persist despite the challenges they have presented to the dissemination of these traditions.

Description
Tantra originated in India many centuries ago but it's uniquely placed to help people use real life
as grist to the mill for spiritual transformation. The purpose of the book is to articulate what Tantra can be
in our modern times and how it can be applied to all aspects of our everyday life. Traditionally Tantra was a
path that brought spirituality out of the caves and monasteries and into the life of householders.
It didn't seek to separate sexuality and spirituality and to force people to make a choice but rather to
integrate the life of family and relationship with spirituality. This includes sexuality but it's not all
about sexuality, and this is a rare book that applies Tantra to every aspect of life. Living Tantra is a body
of work that aims to bring the essence and core message of tantra into relevance for our contemporary life and
society as a path of spiritual growth and human development. It's based on her legendary workshops which book
up via word of mouth and attracts attendees from across Europe and North America, especially Sweden, Austria,
USA, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic.
The exercises here come out of these workshops and mean that we can benefit from this work in our own
homes. The principles of Living Tantra are to use all life, all experience to learn and become more conscious
of ourselves and the world around us, to care more for ourselves, each other and the world and to develop
greater compassion. Tantra includes everything.
It is "the weaving together of all that is".

Sexuality is fused with spirituality, masculine with feminine, playfulness with depth, and the dark
shadows of the psyche with the light of conscious awareness. And the catalyst for this union is love.
In this book, sacred sexuality teacher Shashi Solluna explains how Tantric practices can help you become
fully alive and move from sex to spirit and from spirit to sex in a creative dance of life.
You will learn: - the philosophy of Tantra as a spiritual path - different ways to explore your own
sexuality - techniques to open your heart and cultivate sacred relationships - how to activate your sexual

Description
A complete guide to tantric sex in a 3-volume boxed set. In this three-volume boxed set, tantric
sex teachers Diana and Michael Richardson present practices to help couples enrich their sex life with the
spiritual, healing power of sex. In Tantric Orgasm for Women, Diana explores Tantra from the female
perspective, sharing her more than 20 years of research and revealing how relaxation is the key to achieving
deep orgasmic states.
She looks at how receptive feminine energy influences the male-female exchange, provides ancient tantric
meditations and breathing exercises for increased sensitivity and awareness, and explores the role of the
clitoris, breasts, and vagina in achieving orgasm. In Tantric Sex for Men, Diana and Michael show men how to
move beyond goal-oriented sex and relax into sex as a meditative union of complementary energies. They include
foreplay approaches and diagrams of sexual position sequences, explore the relationship-strengthening benefits
of deep sustained penetration, and explain how to perform soft penetration and avoid premature ejaculation.
In Slow Sex, Diana provides a step-by-step guide for committed couples to explore the healing, spiritual
power of slow sex and awaken the body’s innate mechanism for ecstasy and pleasure. She explains how slow sex
increases sensitivity and sexual vitality as well as creating and restoring love. Providing illustrations of
different positions for eye contact, deep sustained penetration, and soft penetration, she shows how the
practice of slow sex provides couples a way to reach a shared meditative state and use it as a vehicle to
achieve higher consciousness.
Enabling committed couples to develop a personal tantric sex practice, the authors reveal how to keep
your sex life sustainable, fulfilling, and enjoyable for many decades to come as well as how to harness the
power of sex to access extraordinary realms of sensitivity, sensuality, and higher consciousness.

Description
A tantric guide to discovering the hidden gifts of menopause. Shining the light of tantric
intelligence on menopause, the authors reveal how to explore and experience menopause in a radically
positive fashion, suffused with a sense of vital awakening and “re-wilding” of a woman’s sexuality,
creativity, and spirituality. Explaining what to expect physically, emotionally, and spiritually, as well as
what it means for relationships, they detail tantric practices and tools to connect with the body’s inner
intuitive wisdom and heart energies, remove the “performance pressure” of conventional sex, and set the stage
for passion and pleasure to thrive both in the bedroom and beyond. They explain why Tantra works for
menopausal women and how their bodies are naturally entering a more tantric phase focused on creative,
spiritual energy.
They explore how, in Tantra, sex is practiced not for the sake of sex itself but as an instrument for
going “beyond” sex, for better health, improved relationships, enhanced self-control and emotional balance,
and even higher states of consciousness. They also offer many self-help practices, exercises, and meditations
to reinforce a positive attitude toward menopause and overcome many of the physical and sexual problems, such
as pain, dryness, loss of interest, and loss of libido. Providing a guide for women who are approaching,
experiencing, or have gone through menopause, the authors show how a more informed, tantric approach to
menopause allows each woman to deepen her trust in the perfect functioning of the female body, embrace her
natural sexual response, and reconnect with her inner self.
